Kids, are you planning to get a lot of reading done over the summer break?

You are invited to sign up for the Summer Reading Club at Surrey Libraries, starting June 19.

It’s free to join. In return, participants receive a reading record, book mark, and stickers to help keep track of all the reading they do.

If you read for 49 days, you’ll earn the coveted Summer Reading Club medal. But that’s not all. There are also contests and free programs to help keep you motivated, including MagicShow2Go, Junkology, crafts and more.

For more details, visit www.surreylibraries.ca.

Regular reading during the summer helps kids maintain or even improve their reading and literacy skills, according to staff at Surrey Libraries. The club is open to children of all ages and runs to Aug. 31.
