Legion awards contest winners
Awards were given to the annual Remembrance Day Poster, Poem, and Essay contest winners at the Cloverdale Legion Branch General Meeting.
These students all received awards from the BC/Yukon Provincial Command.
The first place winner, Erin Murphy, will advance to the Dominion Command contest.
The winners are Erin Murphy, who earned first place in Colour Poster Primary; Justin Jenkins, third place, Junior Black & White Poster; Dwayne Tonta, second place, Intermediate Colour Poster; Hao Huang, second place, Senior Essay; Christopher Daniel Garzota, third place, Senior Poem, and Lazar Savic, third place, Senior Black & White Poster.
