Flock to OWL's open house
Delta’s OWL Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre invites the public to its open house this weekend.
Visitors will be able to tour behind the scenes at the facility’s exam room, and see some of the pre-release cages that are not normally open to the public.
The non-profit organization rescues, cares for and rehabilitates injured and orphaned raptors, including owls, hawks, falcons and eagles.
The school house and gift shop will also be open.
There may be the release of a rehabilitated bird of prey, too. The event includes a raffle, food and refreshments. (Cash or cheque only, please).
The 3800 72 Avenue facility will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 28 and 29.
