How to get published? Author shares advice
Budding authors take note: Learn how to go from the first page to the joy of professional publication at an upcoming talk at the Surrey Art Gallery.
At 7:30 p.m. Feb. 2, Surrey author Ben Nuttall-Smith shares his insights as part of the Thursday Artist Talk series.
Nuttall-Smith, a former music, theatre, art and language teacher, is a widely published author and poet. He received the Surrey Board of Trade's 2011 special achievement award in recognition of his work as a writer and his contribution to the community of writers.
He will outline the steps for a writer to get their manuscript accepted by publisher, using examples from his own writing experience and search for a publisher, as well as drawing from his two recent novels.
Admission is free.
