HAZELGROVE ELEMENTARY
Hazelgrove Elementary has been a very busy place this month. We celebrated Chinese New Year, Valentine’s Day and held several Walk-to-School events.

Teachers and students have been focusing on teamwork. Students will be working with their buddy classes on a special project to showcase teamwork before the end of the month.

Feb. 23 was the provincial anti-bullying Pink Shirt Day. Our students earned house team points by wearing pink in support of anti-bullying. Several students presented an anti-bullying skit and the Grade 3 students performed a manners rap and our school assemblies the same day.

Our school choir of over 80 students has been busily preparing for the district choral festival and will represent us on March 9. We wish them well.
