Cloverdale residents in search of a burger fix can also come to the aid of a great cause this Thursday.
Aug. 25 is the third annual Cruisin’ to the Dub campaign – a fundraiser for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada taking place at A&W.
For every Teen Burger sold, $1 will be donated to the society, helping support local programs, and services for people living with MS, as well as ground breaking research.
The Cloverdale A&W, located at 17830 Highway 10 (56 Avenue), invites residents to bring the whole family down for a burger. Bring your dog, too (after all, our four-legged friends are part of the family); there will be dog treats for sale as part of the charity event.
There will also be balloons for the kids.
Last year, A&Ws raised $750,000 for the MS Society of Canada. This year, the popular burger franchise hopes to raise $1 million.
