Trevor Linden to make guest appearance in Cloverdale

Former Vancouver Canuck Trevor Linden is making a guest appearance Saturday at Cloverdale's newest shopping plaza.

Linden will be at CIBC Brickyard Station's grand opening between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sept. 8.

The financial institution's new Cloverdale branch hosts a barbecue, DJ, games and a prize draw at the event. Prizes include a stainless steel barbecue and a $1,000 GIC.

Festivities run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
