Christmas cheer, for free
People attending the Christmas in Cloverdale: Gift and Marketplace will be able to save a few extra dollars around the holiday season as organizers have announced the event will be free.
The marketplace, which is held on Dec. 2-3 at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds, will be host to a number of vendors and entertainers.
Attendees will be able to make their own crafts, sample foods from the concession and enjoy a visit with Santa.
Although admission is free, donations to the food bank can still be dropped off. To register as a vendor, fill out the application form online at www.christmasincloverdale.com or contact cicmarketplace@live.ca
